“Music is the divine way to tell beautiful poetic things to the heart.” – Pablo CasalsMusica FEUROPA’s 12th run would have happened today! The country’s best choirs would have battled for the grand prize of PhP100,000! Due to the pandemic, we were forced to forego this year’s competition.
Musica FEUROPA lives on in the music and harmony made by the groups who have shared their music in this competition.One such group is the two-time grand champion of Musica FEUROPA, the UPLB Choral Ensemble, who took the crown in 2010, 2011, and 2014. The group has since taken the choral world by storm with their harmony and talent. In 2019, the group won 1st place in the 16th International Chamber Choir Competition Maktoberdorf in Germany and won the 1st Asia Choral Grand Prix. Looking back, here is the winning performance of the UPLB Choral Ensemble in the 2nd European Union Choral Competition in 2010.
