Eudenice V. Palaruan

Mr. Eudy’s life as a musician is traced back in the Philippine High School for the Arts, where his honed was honed by Andrea O. Veneracion. A seasoned chorister, he performed with the Philippine Madrigal Singers, the World Youth Choir, the Berlin Monteverdichor, and the Spandauer Kantorei under Martin Behrmann, among others.

As a conductor he directed the Ateneo de Manila College Glee Club, assistant conductor of the Philippine Madrigal Singers, director of the Asian Ensemble of the Asian Institute for Liturgy and Music, Gemischtenchor of Gemeinde Jagowstrasse Berlin, principal conductor of the San Miguel Master Chorale, current music director of the Union Church of Manila Chancel Choir, and resident conductor for the Las Pinas International Bamboo Organ Festival. 

Eudy is also an educator. He has been invited to join the faculty of Sta. Isabel College Music Department (1991-1993), the Asian Institute for Liturgy and Music (1990 – 1993, 1998 – 2004), and the University of the Philippines College of Music (1999 – present), St. Paul University of Manila (2008 – present) where he handled classes in theory, voice, piano and conducting. He is oftentimes invited to conduct seminars and workshops here and abroad.
